SILENT HILL f Little Tokyo Takeover

Konami

A TASTE OF EBISUGAOKA

The largest brand takeover of Little Tokyo, Los Angeles ever.

For four weeks, we transformed the familiar, beloved district into a living teaser for the game that sent fans on a neighborhood-wide odyssey into a beautiful nightmare that was impossible to ignore.

METRO STATION DOMINATION

To make the game’s world bleed into our own, the immersion began before anyone even set foot in the district.

Attendees arrived at the Little Tokyo station on a wrapped LA metro train, where they were greeted by this station’s first ever wrap.

We also took over the PA system, playing a custom, in-character announcement from the game’s protagonist.

This served as a haunting invitation, setting the tone and beginning the descent for unsuspecting travelers.

FLORAL INVASION

The centerpiece of the takeover was a stunning, floral invasion.

In partnership with renowned floral artists, we wrapped the iconic Japanese Village Plaza tower and surrounding lightposts in thousands of flowers evoking the game’s signature red floral decay.

This beautiful, creeping corruption became an instant landmark, while the air was filled with haunting, live melodies from musicians playing traditional Japanese instruments perfectly capturing the game’s core theme of “beauty in terror.”

OFFERING CARDS

Fans were guided on a haunting pilgrimage with an “Offering Card,” a cryptic map that led them to partnered local businesses for themed food and drinks, exclusive collectibles, and atmospheric photo opportunities.

The entire district became an immersive space, deepening engagement and encouraging exploration.

BEYOND
LITTLE TOKYO

The campaign also extended outside of DTLA with buses and wrapped trains traveling all across Los Angeles.

We designed a layered plan that reached fans wherever they were—on their commute, in their cars, and across their feeds.

AN ONLINE PHENOMENON

“A Taste of Ebisugaoka” became a phenomenon online, as thousands of attendees shared their hauntingly beautiful photos and videos.

The swell of user-generated content echoed across social media, allowing people who couldn’t attend to experience the eerie atmosphere from afar.

RESULTS

The public turnout was immense; the demand was so unprecedented that exclusive swag and collectibles ran out far ahead of schedule, a testament to the event’s incredible draw.

In the end, the Little Tokyo Takeover was more than an activation; it was a cultural moment.
