We partnered with Konami to produce and launch Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s first-ever live action content series entitled, ‘Deck Flexing’.
Hosted by popular Yu-Gi-Oh! vets from Team APS, this ongoing series put two competitors – in this case other influencers – head-to-head in the ultimate live duel to crown weekly ‘Master Duelists’.
Each episode started with an engaging hands-on match where our influencer’s were coached by our hosts, followed by an exciting head-to-head battle for the gold.
Working virtually to produce and shoot the series posed some interesting challenges along the way. It took careful coordination of live gameplay events between talent spread across the country and the world.
The series coincided perfectly with our successful Unleashed social campaign, adding to Konami’s goal of lowering the barrier of entry for new and lapsed players with these entertaining yet educational episodes.
