We surprised fans at the BlizzCon announcement of World of Warcraft 8.0 by revealing the iconic Battle for Lordaeron — a 1,300 square foot diorama featuring more than 11,000 individual current World of Warcraft players.

Their characters, pulled directly from the game, included every detail of their actual armor and weapons.
Fans could control an array of cameras on wires to locate their exact figure, or find their character on a live microsite.
Oh — and we surpassed Halo to become the Guinness World Record holder for largest video game diorama.
