What you’ll do

As our next AMD, you’ll directly manage a team of supervisors while serving as client lead for a group of our clients’ titles. In our world, marketing a video game is as fierce a competition as you’ll find while playing the games themselves. You’ll manage the overall health of client relationships, working with your team to ensure high satisfaction on the client side while building and motivating a team of experienced full-cycle media strategists.

Your main responsibilities

  • Take full management responsibility for a paid media strategy and buying team team of 4-8 professionals 
  • Ensure a healthy and growing relationship with a group of our clients
  • Serve as strategic leader for media planning and execution, signing off on plans and serving as a senior coach and mentor
  • Keep the fans front-of-mind all-the-time

Your experience and attributes

  • 5+ years of paid media experience, with a track record of promotion starting as an associate 
  • 2+ years of direct management experience, which at a minimum should include senior individual contributors on a paid media team
  • Substantial knowledge of the paid media landscape, including direct buy, paid social, programmatic, CTV/OOT, and partner relationships

Other preferred attributes to highlight in your application

  • Experience in delivering paid digital media campaigns for the entertainment and/or video game segments
  • Experience with pitching new services into existing accounts

What you’ll do

As a senior member of our design team, you’ll be the person driving key looks for campaign development. We’re looking for you to have a killer portfolio with hands-on work executing brilliant work for entertainment clients, from pitch to execution. You’ll also work with our production team to ensure they’re iterating your amazing work consistently across channels.  

In our world of video game marketing, competition is fierce. You’ll understand how to synthesize creative strategy into breakthrough design that drives pitches and engages fanbases. 

Your work product will be a match for the level of entertainment our clients produce.

Your main responsibilities

  • Working from creative briefs and audience insights, you’ll design pitches and campaigns for major entertainment clients
  • You’ll also balance an ability to defend your ideas within a strong culture of collaboration, and be comfortable with an agile iteration process
  • Our production team will look to you for keeping campaign assets on strategy

Your experience and attributes

  • 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in the advertising industry
  • Portfolio with thoughtful and beautiful work for major entertainments clients is a requirement
  • Love for, and examples of, world-class typography, storytelling, and interaction design
  • An optimistic nature with a high level of ownership for the work
  • You share our drive to overdeliver and make every project better than the last

Digital Media Supervisor

What’s this position about?

We’re hiring our next great digital media supervisor for our media buying team.

At Liquid+Arcade, we offer our media buying professionals the opportunity to do great work across the spectrum of the media buying process — strategy, planning, buying, and analytics. You’ll serve as team lead for full-cycle campaigns in one of the most vibrant industries in the world today. Our clients are some of the top video game publishers the industry has to offer, and in today’s climate we’re winning pitches with many of the industry’s hottest up-and-coming titles.

To join us, your profile should demonstrate solid experience as a senior individual contributor or supervisor in modern digital advertising platforms– 

  • At least 3 years of media agency experience in buying and strategy
  • Hands-on-keyboard platform experience in paid social, Google Marketing Platform (including DoubleClick Campaign Manager and DV360), adservers, and DMPs
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex client relationships and presenting fully-realized media campaigns and strategies
  • A minimum of 1 year experience managing associate-level hires, with management of experienced strategists strongly preferred

Junior Data Analyst

What’s this position about? 

We are ALWAYS curious about what data are telling us.

Every day we run dozens of digital advertising campaigns, spending millions of dollars, on behalf of our clients—some of the most successful videogame publishers in the industry. Our analytics team helps ensure that we’re investing those advertising dollars in the most effective and efficient way possible. Our analytics projects and reporting vary widely in complexity, typically exploring datasets in the millions of rows. 

This junior position on our analytics team will show you how to create rich data stories about advertising campaigns—and the video game fans behind them. As the successful candidate, you will use your Python, SQL, and other scripting skills in wrangling data, then visualizing in Tableau to help your teammates and our clients understand the stories in the data.

What do we look for? 

Ideally, you will be a graduate of a research-heavy academic discipline with at least a year of professional analytics experience. Your technical skills will include—

  • Python, SQL, and other data-focused scripting
  • Excel formulas and macros with an emphasis on analytical projects
  • Developing visualizations and narratives, preferably with Tableau dashboard experience
  • Driving projects from data ingestion to presentation (tell us about this in your application)
  • Coding experience is not required but highly preferred
  • Polish and English language written and verbal proficiency are required
